anyway this is day 10 in my challenge to myself to create a painting a day. They are all acrylic for obvious reasons, I like 2 sessions for oils.

day nine

This is ninth painting a day and start of a series of 12x12 inch paintings, a square foot of painting.
That is fascinating to me for some reason.

Mermaid 2 in my new series of mermaids, I think I may add some sparkles to them, I know artists who use bling & glitter in their works, it's pretty interesting.

Anyway, this is day six in my painting a day, I don't know how long this will go on but it is a challenge. I do want to start a new series of 12x12's, i like that size, it's a square foot

I was in a street art show a long time ago, there was a black woman artist who painted black mermaids. I wish I had one now, they were so cool and great and they weren't that expensive, I regret not buying one, so I'm starting a series of mermaids.
There's a lot of things that I want to do a series of, like golf courses.

painting a day, day 5

ok, I've done a painting a day for five days so far, this is totally challenging so I'm giving myself a 5 day work week because this is like a job, props to the artists that do this for years.
This should make my mad skills better.

day 4:  painted this from one of my beach pics I take with my iphone, than paint from my ipad. This gull was so fabulous, he was loving his life so much, and posed for many pics.
